Going home is always such a wonderful time for our family. We get to be out in the country and experience all the fun things that we are surrounded by.
This is exactly what you see looking out of my parents front window. All there are are fields and fields. This was an exceptionally beautiful night that we chose to walk the country roads on a Sunday evening.
Grandma and grandpa spoiled little baby James with so much attention and love. They are such proud grandparents. Grandpa took James on a riding lawn mower and grandma entertained him with his super hyper music and actions.
James loved every minute of being outside, amongst the rocks, mud, grass, garden and horses. James enjoyed visiting Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt's house out in the country. This was the first time he was able to actually enjoy himself and notice everything around him. His favorite things were touching the horses. One of the horses kept on smelling his feet and trying to lick them. It was pretty funny to watch.
Grandpa grew a bunch of strawberries and James loved to stick big fresh strawberries right into his mouth.
James can't wait to visit again. He finds so much joy in the small and simple things of life. Grandma and grandpa were also very excited to be part of his first crawling experiences. What a big boy he is becoming.
