Isn't it Nifty, Rosey's Sixty
Sixty years and all of us are great proof that she has done a lot and created an amazing family. We have all become better individuals because of mom/ nana.
We had a great time celebrating momma Rose's birthday. It was so much fun surprising her and having everyone she loved there in one big room. I asked mom what she thought when she took off her blindfold and saw all of us. She said that it was the way she imagines heaven to be; being surrounded by all she loves.
All I have to say is that I hope I look as good as her at age sixty. She is so beautiful in and out. I have learned so much from her and I know that Josh just adores his mother and we both would do anything for her. We are so lucky to have her in our lives and our little son's life.
All her grandchildren know they are loved by their nana. She is one lady that just has so much joy and love of being surrounded by all these little ones.
We have the cutest little nieces. Each of them are so different, yet so much fun to hold and love. James is number 19 of all of Nana's grandbabies.

James' Baby Blessing
February 22nd at 8:30 a.m was a very special day for James. His daddy had the honor of giving him a baby blessing. He was promised many great things and I know that he will become a rightous young man. His mommy and daddy were such proud parents this day. The spirit was so strong and our sweet baby James is just so precious to us.
Thanks to our sister, Lacey for taking the above picture and the 2 below, of James. I keep telling her she should go professional. Thanks Lacey for being so thoughtful.
We were so blessed to have so many family and friends support James this day. It was a great day and James is loved by so many. He got passed around, kissed and cuddled by everyone.
Thanks to all the family that came and thanks mom and dad for making it down here for such an important event. We love all of you and it just wouldn't of been the same.
Like father like son. Daddy and Baby look so much like eachother.

The joys of 3rd grade
I have loved teaching 3rd grade this year. I have an excellent group of students and I could not ask for a better co teacher to partner teach with me, now that I am part time so I can be with baby James more. Teaching is my passion and I love these students so much and only want the best for them. I can honestly say that this is my dream job, besides being a mother.
Just the girls.I have such beautiful little girls in my class and I love that they are so pretty and on top of things. They really make my class special. These pictures were taken on Friday, so it was jean day and Liberty shirt day, usually they are in their uniforms.
This was Liberty day, we won for being the most red throughout the school. We got a class pizza party for having so much school spirit. Yahh!!
James' First Bubble Bath
James loves the water and has always loved taking baths. He especially loves taking them with mommy or daddy. The first bath he ever had was with me and I was so excited about it. As I had him sit between my legs in the warm water I could tell he was really enjoying it as he kicked his legs and smiled. Than suddenly I heard a loud rumble from down under. The nice clear water had turned yellow and we had to exit fast. Oh well, at least he's my little guy, it really didn't gross me out to bad. He's a baby, what more could you expect, he was just super relaxed. James is a total man; he lets out loud gas and big birps. Now it's alright, but don't worry I will teach him manners when he's old enough.
Lots of Love and Laughter
Our little man is loved by so many. He is one lucky guy to have so many people want to hold him, play with him and smile with. Thanks to everyone who has shown James how special he is. There is no doubt in my mind that he knows he is loved. He loves all of you too, even though he can't tell you.
Laughter and love in life is all we need to have to be happy!!
Canada New Years 2009
James was really excited about the year 2009. He was all smiles while in Canada with his Grandparents, aunts and uncles.
We all got to do a gingerbread house. Let's just say that we had a lot of fun doing it, while eating it too. Ours had the initials J and S, representing the boys and I.
Then we went out on the town with everyone. We went out to eat at The Dinesty (Chinese Food). Thanks mom and dad for always spoiling all of us, we had a blast. Later on that evening we went to a movie, then home to relax, play games and drink some sparkling grapefruit juice. We were all acting a little out of it for the picture. Our family played Settlers of Catan almost every evening until at least 2:00am. We are a bit to intese about that game, but it was sure competative and fun.
Josh worked in the bitter cold, cutting wood. It was-50 degrees, it was freezing. We stayed in the majority of the time. I have lived in Canada the majority of my life, but this was the coldest I ever remember it being. I don't miss that part about Canada at all. I love the Utah winters, they are cold, but berable. Way to go Joshy, wehad plenty of wood for the fireplace.
