The BIG, EXCITING and AMAZING MIRACLE

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands, 'nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song, or cuddle me so near.
But all will change comes this November,
That’s when they say I'm due.
I'll be a new bundle of joy; I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait, because of all the love we'll know.
So have a great 6 months of time

This is problebly the best news I have ever been able to witness. The pregnancy test was a positive and I am now 15 weeks and 2 days along.

It is pretty amazing knowing that I am almost 4 months along come next Friday. I have had an amazing 1st trimester. The only thing that really effected me was smells and the taste of food. I totally lost my appetite the last month and had to make myself eat. During that time I lost some weight, yet I am sure I will gain it back soon when the baby starts growing. I have also been more tired then usual, so when I get home from teaching all day, I usually have to take a nap or go to bed earlier around 9:00.
In all reality, it didn't really hit me until we heard the babies heart beat. It was the most incredible noise. I started crying, just knowing at that moment there was a little miracle growing inside my stomach. As we went in for the ultrasound there are no words to describe the feelings we had as we actually saw our little angel moving around and posing for us. We got some great pictures. Josh says that it's gotta be a boy because he is flexing for us.I love the picture because he is totally clinching his fists and showing off his skeleton muscles.

This is a picture of his side profile. Before we saw the ultrasound, Josh was praying that we would be pregnant with twin boys(he wanted them so bad because he is a twin). He wants a little boy so bad. So when ever we refer to our baby we always call him our little guy. I know that Josh's heart would be melted though, if we had a little girl too.

It has been so fun learning and going through pregnancy. We feel so blessed to bring a little one to this world and raise him/ her the best we know how to. This is definalty a great miracle that God has allowed us to be part of.

Happy Birthday Lover Boy!!

May 20th, 2008 was a special day for the love of my life. Joshy turned the big 29!!
I had so much fun planning and giving him a great birthday to remember. I'm a little cheezy when it comes to special events, just ask my husband. I just have so much fun doing it, and getting excited for him. I began with a scavenger hunt, with hints to the next event.

To start out, it was restaurant of his choice. We went to the Olive Garden, which was the place were he first said he loved me.
We ate great food, laughed a ton and got hooked up by his friend that works there. Of course I got all the waiters and waitresses to sing to him.

Then he was looking "Oh, so mighty fine", that I treated him to a piece of clothing of his choice at the mall. I got him a pair of Express Jeans that he looked hot in.

Then we were off to the fun stuff. It was getting dark so we went up to Vivian Park and chugged all the stuff that I had packed deep into the woods, away from everyone. I had packed blankets, bonfire supplies and a picnic basket full of his favorite sweets, cheesecake and drinks. We spent the evening up there playing a fun romatic game I had bought him. Along with the game, I gave him an intense machine he had been asking for for a long time. This machine does everything. So I told him that he better use it around the house, and he is all up for that.

For his birthday I also threw him a party with his friends. We had a blast with everyone. Thanks to all of our great, so fun and entertaining friends that we love for showing your love to Josh on his special day.

We ate tons of pizza, icecream cake, visited and played rockband. Josh had a great time.

A TRIBUTE TO OUR 2 BEAUTIFUL MOMMA'S

Josh and I have been so very blessed in our lives to be raised by such amazing and great women. We always comment on how lucky we are and that if it wasn't for them we would have never turned out like we did. Both of these women have given of their selves and have sacrificed a lot for each of us. I don't think we will really be able to understand really how much time and love went into us until we have a child of our own, but we can only imagine it.


My mother has always been so selfless and loving no matter the situation. She has had to cry herself to sleep on many occasions because of all of her kids choices when they were teenagers. The sorrow and love that she has always possessed for us was her desire for us to always choose the right and to see each of us happy and content with who we have become. Mom always makes family #1. She is always visiting her children know matter how far away they live, she is always calling us up to see how we are, despite our forgetfulness at times to keep her posted. Mom is a true example of what a loving mother and friend should be and resemble. Thanks mom for always being their for me and letting me cry on your shoulder, we love you so much and thank God everyday that you are a part of our lives. I hope that you never forget how much you mean to us. We know you are always praying for us and thinking of us, know matter how many miles are between us. Thanks a million times over again and again!!


Momma Rose is an amazing mother to both of us. As she lives close by we see her quite often and love visiting and playing games with her. I have always found Josh's relationship with his mom to be remarkable and incredible. He always says it is because they have been through alot together, but I also think it is because they trust eachother completely and tell eachother almost everything. Since Josh has always been so close to his mother, it has allowed me to get close to mom so fast. Eversinse I joined the family, mom has always invited me in as me being her blood child too. I have become very close to her and treasure her realtionship. It is the random days that she calls or stops over just to see us that make our relationship so special. I always look forward to her Sunday dinners, where everyone is together and where we are all able to laugh and have a good time. I am so blessed to have another mother that I love and adore and feel close to. Thanks for all you do for Josh and I. We love you to death and feel blessed everyday that we belong to you.
