My handy man

I never knew I married such an handy man. He has amazed me in so many ways. Our house has a porch which I love. Yet, it had no stairs. How wierd is that? Anyways, Joshy knew how bad I wanted stairs so we could actually go to our backyard alot easier, so look what he did. Before: After: Wow, I love it!! Thanks babe!!

2 Year Anniversary

I have been so blessed to be married to such an amazing man. He is the one who has been there for me constantly for the last 2 years. As I think of the last 2 years, I can say that we have learned a ton about eachother and now understand one another alot more. We have had an amazing journy so far and I am so excited to see what will happen this year with our new addition to our little family. We had a great anniversary of course. We went to the weekend BYU game and sat front row at the 50 yard line. I am really loving the games and Josh is so cute, cause every year he buys me a new BYU outfit and hat for the new season. Joshy surprised me with these beautiful huge rose and took coaching off for the evening. We caught a movie, went looking for our gift, which is going to be a rocker recliner for the babys room. We went out to dinner for Chinese food and it was crazy because Josh's fortune cookie read the following. How suiting for the occasion. I thought Josh had set it up or something, but it was just luck, I guess. This year I made a book of 100 reasons why I love my handsome husband. He loved it! I could have gone on forever with more reasons why I love him. He is just so easy to love and adore. Then the rest of the night was history and we just created our own fun, if you know what I mean!!

Weekend Quicky

We had a great weekend. Mom, dad and Amber came to visit for a day. They are so awesome. They got to our house Saturday morning at 2AM and had to leave on Sunday right after church at 11AM. They came for our cousin Travis's reception. It was so much fun being with them. The boys went to the BYU game and us girls went shopping all Saturday. That evening we went to the reception and it was so good to see our cousins and see Travis finally married. Amber, Tilly, Natalie and I catching up on life. Amber is such a great sister, she is so much fun and just a blast to be with. She is definalty a motivator and I just love her to death. Thanks for coming to visit for such a short time. Sherlyn is such a funny cousin and we always have a laugh with him. Me and my 2 babes. Mom and I also spent late hours canning delicious peaches. Mom is so great, she is always helping me and teaching me new things. All I can say is mom and dad are so great at loving us kids and always showing us love through their actions, travels, time and love. I am so happy to have them as my parents, because I know they love me and would do absolutley anything for Joshy and I. We are greatly blessed to have them as our parents.

Yummy food and Preparation for the Burps

Fresh fruit is the best. We have been so lucky to have peach, nectorine, apricots, plums and pear trees. They have just barely gotten to the point where we can eat them. Josh and I love just going outside and eating as much fruit as we want. I plan on fruit canning next weekend. We also grew 2 cherry trees and another nectorine and peach tree this year. Fruit is the absolute best directly from the tree. They taste so much better then the ones from the grocery store. Well, yesterday my dear mother in law taught me how to can pickles. It was the easiest and fastest canning I have ever done. Plus, it's good I learned her recipe, because Josh loves, loves her pickles. They taste so different than others I have tasted, and I am the next to say that they are the best I have ever tasted too.SO hopefully they end up tasting the same. Thanks mom for the invite and I love that we can just hang out, just the 2 of us. I spent all last night sewing. I will be the first to admit that I am not very good at it and that last night I was getting mad at the machine, but I am learning. I made 12 different birp cloths for baby James. They turned out pretty good, considering that I am an amiture. I like to sew, I just need more experience- so I guess practice will one day make perfect. I finally finished the blanket that I gave to Josh for Father's day, some time ago. It was partly a celebration that we were having a little guy, hence the BYU. So I made daddy a big cougar blanket that me, him and baby James can all snuggle up in during the cold October, November games of next year(since James will arrive this year near the last few games, and daddy is not taking the baby in the cold when he is not even 1 month old). Along with the blanket, came a few Cougar burp cloths- cause daddy's gotta be in style too. I am actually really excited for Josh and James to start on sports in the future, it is such a guy thing that bonds fathers and sons together.

Week by week

Alot of you are asking me to show pictures of my belly. Well ready or not here I come. Let me just tell you that everyday I wake up, I am growing, growing and growing. It is so much fun being pregnant and seeing my belly grow. Baby James has been so good to me, his mommy. I love feeling him kick and seeing my tummy grow, because it lets me know just how much he is growing. Finally at almost 30 weeks, people that I do not know are asking me when I am due. I love talking, thinkin and daydreaming about babies. I am getting baby sick and just want him to be here in my arms. I can't wait to be a MOMMY!! 24 Weeks 25 Weeks 26 Weeks 27 Weeks 28 Weeks This was the first time wearing the prego pants. These are so comfortable, but I still wear my normal pants with an elastic going through the hole and attaching onto the button. I really am not planning to buy to many maternity clothes, because now days the fashion is baby doll shirts and long shirts, plus I don't plan on wearing them to long. 29 Weeks

August Update

Well, this last month has been super busy. We had a very successful Young Womens camp up Payson canyon. We did not rough it one bit. We only had to cook 2 meals and had stake cooks the rest of the time, we slept in cabins and we had a complete blast being all together and playing tons of crazy games and going snipe hunting with the Beehives(one of my favorites). We won best chant for our crazy morning call, where we all ratted our hair and danced to "Thriller", by Michael Jackson. We did a good job, so good that we preformed it about 3 or 4 times for other groups, including the bishopric. Testimony meeting was another of my favorites, because these girls are so amazing and have such a wonderful spirit with them. This was a week that I learned alot about myself and others. I love the Young Womens and feel so blessed to be with them every week. Last week we finished remodeling mom and dad's new apartment investment that they have here in Utah. Josh and I helped mom and dad get girls into a 6 girl apartment at BYU. We made a place that looked worn and old, look like new. Even though I was the runner, or should I say the one who went shopping for furniture, paint, food, ect while everyone else painted. I had to keep my baby safe during this time, and I wasn't complaining. It was so great having mom and dad down for the weekend. I love them so much and can't wait to see them in about 2 weeks again. Thanks parents for being so generous and loving us all the time. We have also enjoyed many visitors this summer, little ones, young ones and adults. Josh and I have always had the mentality of welcoming anyone to our house and hoping they feel comfortable. We love visitors and have totally enjoyed family and friends who have stayed with us. Believe us when we say,"The more the better". One of the many things I love so much about my husband is that he is a total people person just like me and that we both love being around people all the time. I love that my husband can be so entertaining and is kind to everyone he meets, plus people love him( including me, I mean how could you not). I have really enjoyed serving with these great YW leaders. It is always a comfort going to church and knowing so many people. Josh and I have really gotten to know so so many people since we have gotten our new callings. Primary was great and all, yet it is nice communicating with adults and the youth. We love our ward and have made so many friends. Thanks to all of you who make our lives a little more colorful and exciting. This past weekend, Josh helped coach his first Salem High School Football game. It was fun watching him, because football is one of his great passions and he works so well with the young boys. I never really realized how intense footbal was, until I sat in on a practice. Wow, those boys fight to their death. I know our little boy will either love football or be brain washed from his daddy that football is the Sport to love. I look forward to seeing Josh with our little one. His love for babies and children has always been so strong. When I watch him with all of his nieces and nephews, it is evident that he is a natural. He is loved by all of them and they always looks forward to seeing their Uncle Joshy. We attended the first BYU home game and sat in the middle front row seats on the visitors side. I love going to BYU games and being right their on the action. I am actually learning more about the game. Before I used to go more for the social event than anything else, yet my husband seems to teach me a bit each time we go. Once the game ended at around 8:00, we headed to Vegas and didn't get there until 2 AM. All the family was there and we all enjoyed baby Beckam's baby blessing that same morning. When ever Josh's family gets together it is a big party of loudness. There are about 18 little munchkins running around and all of us adults. There is never a dull moment when we are all together. Thanks to Melissa and Jason for being such hostesses and for feeding the big clan and entertaining us. I also started teaching school again. I am at Liberty Academy again teaching 3rd grade and loving it. This school is so great. I love the curriculum, the staff and the spirit that is there. My 30 students are so great and it is my passion to teach these little minds. Ever since my first year(which was last year) I have realized that one of my greatest loves in life is to make a difference in children's lives. As I teach these little children, I claim them as my own and I really cherish them and always want the best for them. I fall in love with the students I teach and therefore give my all when teaching. So many of these kids just need to be loved and believed in. It is great to have a job that I enjoy going to everyday and the best pay is knowing that I have made a small difference in a childs life, for it is not the money, but it is the inward pay that I recieve each day. 2 teach is 2 touch lives _____________ 4 ever
